We had a great day at Rostellan Farm this morning. We saw baby calves - one was only 5 hours old. They were cuddly and soft. They were playing together and eating some ration. If you gave them your hand they would suck your finger!
We also saw the milking parlour and all the milk from the morning milking. Then we got some hot chocolate and bought some chocolate and strawberry milk (straight from a strawberry coloured cow!)
Keira met her old teacher from Aghada school and everyone we chatted to was really nice.
We went to the Old Cork Waterworks today. It was drizzling, so we were glad to get out of school.
We saw the old engine room and pressed buttons to turn them on. They had pretend smoke and steam (Sean thinks it was dry ice).
We didn't steal any coal!
Afterwards we went to the shop but some people didn't buy anything because they wanted to put all of their money into Christmas Savings.
We had a great trip out on the sunny weather today. We saw some really old paintings and sculptures in the Crawford Gallery. We posed like some of the sculptures! After that, we went Super Valu in Mayfield and got some healthy snacks. We put our change into our Christmas Savings scheme.
